The Federal Government’s National Innovation Visa was released on December 6th 2024, with Dymond & Associates finding many similarities to the replaced Global Talent visa. But with clearer guidelines on previously ambiguous selection criteria.

The visa also calls for emerging entrepreneurs, and they all need to demonstrate their innovative characteristics, outstanding achievements, and how they plan to contribute to Australia.

For those who cannot qualify for NIV, we can engineer other pathways to Australian Permanent Residency. We classify such clients as Class C.

Polishing a client to qualify for the NIV

This requires a lot of work to elevate a Class C client. This candidate may come from a family with generational wealth who invest in some future-focused sectors, such as green energy, but does not directly contribute to innovations. We need to spend a year or two elevating their prominence and industry influence.
